About the Item

Medium: original lithograph. Tito Varisco was a well known scenographer (set designer), and this print was inspired by the Bela Bartok opera "The Miraculous Mandarin", and was executed for the second volume (1956-57) of very rare Documenti d'Arte d'Oggi, published in Milan by Groupe Espace. Printed on a light brown paper, the full sheet size is 8 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches (218 x 318mm). Signed and titled in the plate, not by hand.
