About the Item
This unique original ceramic artwork by Jared FitzGerald immediately transforms any interior with its stark contrast of bold primary colors of glaze paint with the smooth white of the porcelain surface. The bold brushstrokes of the dragon circle the composition offering a sense of whimsical movement. Traditionalist Eastern motifs are fused with the Western style gestural brushstroke, which almost makes this artwork a visual anomaly of sorts. This is a prefect example of FitzGerald's new style of bold, colorful brushstrokes starkly contrasting a soft background on a traditionalist form of ceramic vase.
