About the Item
Many coats of blue on blue with white burning through from the bottom layers, create a visual impact of distance. Wisps of black strings of glass were fired as each layer of glass was added to the sculpture. The sculpture was heated to 1600 degrees to allow the pattern to evolve in a fractured way.
The sculpture is mounted on a white custom painted frame.
