About the Item

This acrylic box is a dimensional work featuring three interchangeable, scented panels. Vibrant colors, an original and unique creation, a superb, intriguing and graphic decoration. Unique piece. Yiriane Kahn is a Dominican-German/Argentine visual artist whose work draws from her multicultural upbringing and extensive travels throughout Latin America and Europe. Educated in fine arts in Peru, Spain, and Madrid, her art combines mixed media techniques, including painting, collage, sculpture, cardboard, pigment, and ink, to capture the dynamic interplay between spaces she has inhabited. She emphasizes natural elements like water, stone, and air, and often uses gold and silver leaf to honor Latin America's mineral richness. Kahn’s work delves into identity formation through environment, proposing freedom as a personal and evolving experience rooted in one's unique perspective and interactions with their surroundings.
