Bruno HelgenMake a Journey Teak Bruno Helgen Contemporary turning wood globe sculpture
About the Item
Teakwood and white lava sand make this beautiful turning globe a real stunning sculpture.
Made from a whole piece of wood the way the sculpture is shaped is defined by how the tree grew.
Sitting on a turning base the sculpture can spin silently around, so that all angles can be admired at any time.
His work is favored by private collectors and commercial organizations, such as Louis Vuitton, around the world.
Bruno Helgen’s design uses local wood from Bali like teak or walnut and the final shape of the globe is adjusted to the beauty and the imperfections of the piece of wood. These sculptures come to life with a variety of materials such as volcanic sand, lacquer and metals.
