Isabelle Jeandot
"The temple", Small Character in a Forest Circular Figurative Bronze Sculpture

2020

About the Item

"Temple" is a bronze sculpture by Isabelle Jeandot. This circular sculpture depicts a small character seated on the ground, surrounded by trees. This artwork is an allegory of Mother Earth, with trees bending in the shape of female anatomy around the small human being. This artwork symbolizes our inner temple, which is accessed in the silence of our hearts. It also evokes the idea that Nature is a sacred temple of which our humanity must take great care. Passionate about the spirit, with her timeless and universal expression in the heart of the human condition, the artist Isabelle Jeandot questions the relationship between man and nature. Onirism and alchemy, surrealism and poetry, sensuality and sacred feminine inspire and form the pattern of her art creations. This Bronze is one edition of twelve original sculptures, and it will be delivered with the certificate of authenticity provided by the foundry. The body of this bronze mesures 46cm(H) x 45cm(L) x 7cm(D), and its base mesures 25cm x 14cm x 1cm.
