About the Item
Mallorca landscape original ceramic sculpture. piece unic
born in the town of Estellencs on the island of Mallorca, from his youth he dedicates himself to drawing and watercolor, going further to the delineation.
It is when he turns completely in the painting, although he was considered a self-taught, had much influence first of the Catalan painter Casimir Tarrasó, where they even went out to paint together on the island, and later met Joan Miró who would be impressed by the This is the great influence of these two great painters, Tarrasso and Miró in Gaspar Riera, the linear simplicity of Miró with the colorful treatment of Tarrasso de los volumes. In 1948 in 1960 he decided to settle in Paris for relate to the artistic environment and to find a new technique.
