Glenn Green
Glenn Green started to create his colorful abstract canvases in 2019. After 56 years in the gallery business, he has begun this newest journey. His paintings have strong shapes and textures and invite close contemplation. As a gallerist, he was an advisor, mentor and appreciator to many artists and many forms of art. He grew up in Los Angeles, surrounded by creative people. His father was an accomplished painter, a neighbor made art for Hollywood studios and an uncle directed the construction of movie sets. His dad, George, in addition to doing landscapes of his home state of Texas, made movie posters and later started a sign painting company. Glenn joined him in the sign company after college, later on forming a picture framing business in Phoenix. He started casually displaying the art of local artists there. Glenn and his family curate and exhibit the works of internationally known artists such as Allan Houser, Melanie Yazzie, Khang Pham-New, Yoshida Kenji and many others.

The Wounaan believe they emerged from the palm tree. They weave baskets from palm fiber and use natural dyes. The dyes are made from wood, plants, and earth. Achieving a particular color takes weeks. The rainforest baskets are of the highest quality to be found anywhere in the world. Comparable to the North American Pomo and Panamint baskets, widely considered the best weavers in the world. The Wounaan and Embera are the finest weavers working today. The area in which they live is extremely remote and dangerous to reach. From Panama City...Category

- Learning to Fly, by Eduardo Oropeza, bronze, sculpture, father, child, brownBy Eduardo OropezaLocated in Santa Fe, NMLearning to Fly, by Eduardo Oropeza, bronze, sculpture, father, child, brown Learning to Fly, Eduardo Oropeza bronze sculpture of father and child, brown Sculptor, painter, printmaker, & photographer, Eduardo Oropeza remains a commanding presence in contemporary art. He applied a high level of devotion and integrity to his artwork. After the many years he had been working at his chosen profession, he saw being an artist as a tremendous gift, which honored and humbled him. A native of California's San Joaquin Valley and long-time resident of East Los Angeles, Oropeza's academic training began with the study of Sociology. After taking an art course, he ultimately changed majors and received a Master of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from San Jose State. Postgraduate work followed at San Jose, San Diego State at Long Beach and Palomar College. Oropeza’s contribution to public art in Los Angeles can be seen in a ceramic mosaic covering the 2 story Self Help Graphics Workshop building located at Ceasar Chavez and Gage streets in East Los Angeles. Oropeza donated his time and artistic talent to complete this multi-year project. The second phase of this project was the creation of a Virgin of Guadalupe shrine, shown here, for the community. Selected collections: Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Hispanic Research Center, Arizona State University, City of Sacramento, California, Mary Tyler Moore...Category

Art is always a form of communication: communication with and between the materials employed by the artist, giving rise to an aesthetic visual balance able to convey feelings, emotions and ideas, all of which are essential to a nonconformist commitment and worldview. Moisés Gil puts his representations of individuals in sculptural structures to better indicate the place of humans in the world, the place of contemporary individuals in their different environments, sometimes hostile; they are naked men...Category
