About
Female Ceramic Sculpture
Magda Gluszek lives, hikes, and sculpts in the White Mountains of northeastern Arizona. Originally from Syracuse, NY, she earned her BFA in painting and BA in ceramics from the State University of New York College at Fredonia and received her MFA in ceramics from the University of Florida in May 2008. She was a resident artist at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee (2008/2009) and Roswell Art Center West in Roswell, Georgia (2009/2010). In the fall of 2010 she moved back to Florida to teach as an adjunct instructor and visiting artist at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, FL. She is currently full time Art Faculty and Gallery Director at Northland Pioneer College in Show Low, Arizona.
