Mieke Heitling
Mieke Heitling is a Dutch artist who likes to chop wood and also likes to work with bronze. For Heitling, body language is a huge source of inspiration. She followed her sculpture training at the Classical Academy for Fine Arts in Groningen. Heitling finds it fantastic to make contemporary art with these artisans and classical tools that are at the center of society. In June 2017, Heitling did final exams at the Classical Academy for Fine Arts. This five-year course ended with an exhibition in Martinikerk in Groningen.
