About the Item
This statue is handcrafted by lost wax process which is one of the ancient process of metal craft. Vajrasattva is seated on lotus with one hand holding a Vajra which is a symbol of protection. 24K real gold plating is done on copper body and it comes in two pieces.
A long process is required to make a statue complete unlike mass production. It is made by artisans of Patan, Nepal where skill is passed down for generations. A booklet on procedure of making a statue comes with the purchase.
