About the Item

Ken Ferguson Very rare and early work! USA, 1983 stoneware 22 h × 24 w × 5¾ d in signed by artist Ken Ferguson (1928 - 2004) received an M.F.A. in 1954 from Alfred University, and went on to become one of the most influential teachers and artists in his field of pottery. From 1964 until 1996, when he was named Professor Emeritus, Ferguson was Head of the Ceramics Department at the Kansas City Art Institute. His work has been included in solo shows at the Garth Clark Gallery in New York and the Frank Lloyd Gallery in California and can be found in prominent museum collections such as Charles A.
