Virginia Mahoney is a mixed-media sculptor in the Boston area, whose work reveals a fascination with words, ambiguity, and diverse methods of making. She reflects on sensation, reaction, and thought, using laborious processes and unexpected material combinations. Her work has been exhibited frequently in the eastern and central United States.
