Robert Taplin’s most recent show at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in 2015 was centered on the Punch iconography as will his New Haven debut show at Fred Giampietro Gallery. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and has received numerous awards and grants, most notably from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
