This fine antique George IV sterling silver waiter has a plain circular form onto a circular collet foot.
The surface of this fine example of Scottish silverware is embellished with a fine and impressive contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting a stag's head erased below the motto 'Steady'.
The swept border is ornamented with a plain applied moulded rim.
This crest pertains to the family name M'Adam, McAdam and Macadam of Craigengillan, Ayrshire, Scotland.

A fine Regency longcase clock in the form of a domestic regulator in an architectural mahogany case with inset panels of satinwood and ebonized mouldings. The case of this clock shows the distinct influence of Thomas Hope, the eminent antiquarian and designer who was inspired by the Greek and Egyptian designs.
The 12in square brass dial has a silvered finish and is engraved with Roman chapters and subsidiary second’s dial. The dial is signed within the lower section 'Barwise, London'.
The eight day duration movement is of the highest quality, with five pillars, dead beat escapement, maintaining power and hour strike on a bell. The pendulum has a wood rod for temperature compensation with beat adjustment and rating nut beneath the brass bob. The clock is complete with the original brass cased weights.

This exceptional antique George V sterling silver photograph frame has a plain quadrilateral form with an offset rectangular internal window, all in the Art Deco style.
The broad border of this antique silver photograph frame is embellished with panels of impressive engine turned decoration, incorporating a vacant cartouche to the lower edge.
This Art Deco silver photo frame retains the original oakwood back and hinged strut, secured with two pin catches.
This antique frame is inset with a removable glass panel.
Condition
This antique Art Deco silver photo frame is an exceptional gauge of silver and exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The silver frame and oak wood back are in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are all very clear.

This rare Charles X table has a small round top with an aquatint inset under glass within an ormolu gallery. The engraving shows the Three Graces stealing arrows from Cupid as he sleeps curled up against a rock. The table itself comprises a frieze drawer in the central drum above a facetted straight support on three cabriole legs with brass castors. It is decorated throughout in gilt-tooled red leather with classical motifs and borders including armorial trophies, sphinxes and honey bees. French, circa 1825.

An exceptional, fine and impressive, rare pair of antique George IV English sterling silver coasters made in Newcastle; part of our silver wine related collection.
These exceptional antique George IV Newcastle sterling silver coasters have a circular rounded form.
Each coaster has a wirework body which incorporates the original applied oval vacant cartouche encompassed with a thread decorated border.
The upper rim of each coaster is ornamented with an undulating wirework border.
The coasters are fitted with fine and impressive turned mahogany bases, embellished with the original silver buttons to the centre.
These sterling silver coasters are fitted with green baize to the underside.
This style of coaster is rare to the market due to the limited output from the provincial Newcastle George Samuel Lewis & John Wright.
