A sustainable design brand based out of Michigan, Studio Variously exclusively collaborates with artisan communities to restore and revive ancient techniques by exploring custom modern designs in textile based products.
This textile's design is made up of subtle textured stripes. Edges of each stripe pattern on the throw is beautifully hand knotted on one side, and the edges on reverse side is kept clean, making this throw / bedspread / blanket reversible to arrange and use. Our textiles s are incredibly soft to touch and wear well over time. Requiring attention to detail and finishing, Rosewood luxuriously combines heritage value and high quality craftsmanship.
For this piece, we are using only the highest quality of soft natural hand-spun merino yarn, which is later hand-dyed with eco-friendly dyes, free of toxic chemicals, as stated above. Our dyes are specifically engineered to promote the lifespan of each throw. As this luxurious textile is completely handmade from start to finish, each piece is unique. Classic in design, this timeless throw / blanket will complement interior spaces and also support artisan communities ethically.
