Alessandro Michele Shirts

The designer of this tremendous piece is Alessandro Michele. He was appointed creative director of Gucci in January 2015 and is known for his maximalist designs. Alessandro Michele relaunched Gucci's popularity with a Geek-Chic props. He is responsible for all of Gucci's collections and global brand image. This tank top is a testament to Alessandro Michele’s extraordinary creativity. It features two layers: the inner one is a quite simplistic tank top with some sports reminiscence, all black with two purple stripes on the sides. The outer layer is an asymmetrically draped cupro canvas, which can be worn is several ways; we liked having it knotted on the back side, but it can also be worn loose or in many other ways (just be as creative as Alessandro!). From a construction point of view, all the hems are sharp cut, a technique which is best exploited today through laser cutting and finishing. This piece is in good vintage conditions, showing some wear according to his age, but still shining and appealing. Minor pulls at the hems have to be considered normal due to the sharp cut technique being adopted in manufacturing.
