Arid End Tables
Arid is based in the desert landscape of Albuquerque, NM, and designs and builds its furniture in-house. They create sharply contemporary, charismatic designs rooted in traditional craftsmanship that has been reimagined through modern machinery and techniques. Each piece is built one at a time using exposed joinery, careful detailing, and hand-matched boards to create a unified whole reveling in the beauty of wood. Arid’s mission is to use a daring design sensibility paired with a deep love for how things are built to make pieces that are brimming with life and that bring delight into the world.

This elegant Plume Side Table is made out of solid white ash hardwood that has been charred black with fire, scrubbed to remove the ash, and sealed with a hand rubbed oil finish. This process leaves a black that’s deeper and has more character than a strain and that also exposes the texture of the wood giving it a delightful sensory and tactile quality.
