70's G plan Teak two door cabinet designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins for Gplan.
It is made in 1970s by G Plan out of exotic timers mostly Burmese Teak(a mellow medium light teak colour) .
The cuts were carefully chosen to accentuate the wood figuring and grain which was reveled to its full effect in the restoration.
The very best materials were used in making it available at this period
It's well constructed and fronted with 2 nicely grained doors, each of which is fitted with a well sculpted solid teak handle.
The internal compartment is fitted with a height adjustable half depth shelf, while an inset plinth provides a pleasing means of support.
The piece has a beautiful teak grain, warm tones, and rich colors throughout.
The cabinet is of compact proportions and ideal for multiple areas within the home.
Would be ideal for a turntable based hifi stand...
