Katharina Eisenkoeck
Katharina Eisenkoeck is an Austrian designer and artist, currently based in East London, England. She creates finely crafted, intricate objects which push the boundaries of contemporary design culture. She designs and produces work with sculptural simplicity and functionality, through her distinct use of materials and personal approach.
Within the making process, the refining and finishing is critical to Katharina. This material experimentation allows her to create objects that are long lasting and unique. Her work has always revolved around simplicity and is a process of working toward a pure aesthetic. Each piece is designed and crafted entirely by hand, enabling her to cross boundaries between sculpture and design.
