This red Tolix table with original patina is extremely rare. The squared base is in fact a typical feature that always characterizes the squared structure of the bistro table known as 'Cube' table. The contrast created in this piece of furniture by the different shape of the base and the tabletop makes this specific design piece original and unique.Designed by Xavier Pauchard in 1938, the Table is one of Tolix’s most iconic models. The “made in France” chair company Tolix was founded after World War I in Autun (Burgundy) by Xavier Pauchard (1880-1948), a French pioneer in galvanized steel.
