About Highland ParkEve Kelly Herman grew up in the suburbs surrounded by the contemporary designs of the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Eve has always been fascinated with objects that are both beautiful and possess an historical importance. After a successful career in retail management and buying she founded Highland Park Antique and Contemporary Furnishings and opened up her first shop in Tribeca in 2005. It is Eve’s wish to create a design shop that would inspire and allow people to appreciate the timeless qualities of each object. She enjoys working and surrounding herself with beautiful objects that she has hand picked for Highland Park. Eve finds the search and acquiring of these pieces both challenging and rewarding. She only buys what she loves; this is what gives Highland Park’s rotating acquisitions authenticity. For that reason pieces from Highland Park have been chosen and continue to be selected to be in such magazines as Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Harper's Bazaar and various notable online publications.
