Table B has been one of BD Barcelona Design’s icons of this century. It’s a successful product on the market and has received awards so important as the Red Dot Best of the Best in 2011. This piece, rather than dating, has always looked to the future. Now it has turned into a series of tables for everyday use, outdoor and indoor, with a new 90cm width for domestic use and a 70cm desk. Legs for this collection include new designs in wood, cast aluminium and steel rod.

Konstantin Grcic (1965) was trained as a cabinet maker at The John Makepeace School for Craftsmen in Wood before studying Design at the Royal College of Art in London. He set up his own office in Munich in 1991. Today, Konstantin Grcic Design GmbH is based in Berlin. The office operate in diverse fields ranging from industrial design projects, exhibition design and architectural collaborations. Amongst his renowned clients are Aeance, Authentics, Cassina, ClassiCon, Flötotto, Flos, Galerie Kreo, Kettal, Laufen, Magis, Muji, Nespresso, Plank, Smart and Vitra.

An Italian small sized table, or writing desk, from the 19th century. This antique table from Italy features a rectangular-shaped top overhanging an apron fitted with a single drawer at one long side. The table is raised on a pair of hour-glass shaped legs flanking either side, with beautifully carved outer edges. A wooden stretcher bar adds support between the legs and is carved with a small arch at center and pierced cut-out embellishment. The medium tone wood has an old patina throughout, a lovely reflection of it's age. The leg clearance at the underside of this piece is 25.25 inches in height. This 19th century table with shapely hourglass legs would make a delightful little writing desk...

A rare Italian desk unit designed by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti in the 1970s. This desk has one main section with an additional table top attachment, creating an L-shape. It was constructed with wood and has a maple wood veneer with an exquisite birdseye grain.
