This inflatable women’s suit by Issey Miyake is a twin of the 2-piece ensemble that walked the runway for the Fall 2000 Ready-to-Wear. The suit includes a fitted blazer with inflatable shoulder detail and a midi skirt with seven inflatable sections at the bottom. Designed to wear either way: inflated or deflated. An amazing example of the technical aspect of Issey Miyake's work, it will only increase in value as decades pass. Excellent condition, with no visible signs of wear; I doubt it has ever been worn.
