"Tight Fit" a charming narrative dog painting by Beth Carlson of two beautiful Springer Spaniel dogs cozily sharing a wing chair in a living room interior. The dog painting combines her talent depicting Springer Spaniel dogs beautifully as well as charming interiors. Beth Carlson's detailed expressive animals with impressionist brush strokes combines styles from English and French art. Beth Carlson has been featured in many publications including "Garden & Gun", "Sporting Classics", "The American Brittany" and "Chronicle of the Horse", to name a few. Her work has also graced the covers of many national magazines including "Gray’s Sporting Journal". Beth Carlson has five paintings in museums; two paintings in the permanent collection at the Brittany Hall of Fame in the National Bird Dog Museum in Tennessee, and three paintings have been bequeathed to the prestigious Museum of the Dog.
