- Pop Art Painting Bright Vibrant Colors Artist Painted Frame Flowers in VaseBy Amanda WattLocated in Surfside, FLThis is a bright, vibrant, colorful Amanda Watt original acrylic painting on paper depicting a patio scene with a floral vase on round table. Signed to lower left. Mounted in a purple and gold stripe painted wooden frame with mat behind acrylic screen. Measures 30 1/4" height x 24 1/4" width (76.8cm x 61.5cm). Measures approx. 44 5/8" height x 36 5/8" width (113.3cm x 93cm) overall including artist painted frame. A self-confessed ‘Fusionist’, Amanda pays homage to the past: the multiple perspectives of cubism; the bright energy of expressionism and the simplicity of primitivism, all allowing her to show the true integrity of painting. Her every-day world and that of fantasy collide to create bright and joyful images based on the clarity and simplicity of abstract forms. Amanda Watt was born in Northern Ireland in 1960. Moving around a lot as a child between towns and countryside, drawing remained the one constant in her life. She graduated with a BA Hons from the Belfast College of Art and Design in 1982, and immediately left for the bustling London art scene. After three years, she was given an opportunity by one of her collectors to move to Los Angeles, where she spent the next twenty years building a successful career as an artist. Amanda’s work was well-known on the California art scene, with annual exhibitions spanning over ten years at Timothy Yarger Fine art in Beverley Hills, as well as Bowles/Sorokko Galleries in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. Her bright, vibrant interior scenes and semi-abstract figurative and landscape paintings became a staple of Californian society, with key collectors including casino mogul Steve Wynn...Category

- "Sparks Begin To Fly" Dom Pérignon Collage Composition Painting on Panel BoardBy Robert MarsLocated in New York, NYThis piece depicts the famous Dom Pérignon Champagne Bottle. Celebrating this iconic brand from the Golden Era with expressive and bold colors by capturing these moments in history, his paintings serve as vehicles for bringing the nostalgia of this sought-after brands to the world. With the use of graphic compositions, glossy textures, and rich colors Mars provided the ultimate medium in which to explore his fascination stemming from the Golden Age of American popular culture and the icons of the 1950’s and 60’s. Mars hand-painted spheres in the background with clippings from magazines dating back to this era and incorporates messages from those times throughout the artwork. Creating the perfect backdrop for his statement piece, stands out exceptionally, as the Moët & Chandon logo is draped across adding an extra character of definition. Mars then layers the entire painting in epoxy resin, so the thickness of the piece pops dramatically. Finishing off the edges of the wood panel with newspaper articles and advertisements from an array of vintage magazines collected over the years. This is a one-of-a-kind piece executed on wood panel and comes ready to be displayed with hanging wire on verso, signed by the artist lower right and on verso. Art measures 48 x 48 inches Robert Mars was born in 1969 and is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York. At a young age, between 7 and 8 years old, he was drawn to muscle cars, custom vans...Category
