Linda Lomahaftewa is a printmaker, painter, and mixed media artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A member of the first class of students at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), she received her BFA and MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. After teaching at the University of California, Berkeley, and Sonoma State University, she spent more than forty years teaching at IAIA. Her artwork has been shown nationally and internationally in exhibitions. In 2001, she won the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation's Power of Art Award.

Amenoff has taught at Columbia for the last eighteen years, where he holds the Eve and Herman Gelman Chair of Visual Arts and is currently the Chair of the Visual Arts Division in the School of the Arts. He is currently the Vice-President of the National Academy. In 2011 he received the John Solomon Guggenheim Fellowship.
