Very rare original Signed Hors Commerce artist proof (do not sell) color lithograph, of the Parisian monument, The Triumphal Arch, by Bernard Buffet (1928-1999). A landscape image by the celebrated French Modernist figurative artist Bernard Buffet, titled "L' Arc de Triomphe". The color litho depicts one of the most recognizable architectural monuments in Paris. The artwork is signed in pencil lower left "H.C" (Hors Commerce) meaning not to be sold, this was an artist proof provided to the printer to make the limited edition numbered prints (200 to be exact), it is also boldly signed "Bernard Buffet" lower right.
