About the Item
A signed Mid-Century Modern sensual curved centerpiece of great effect, blown in transparent crystal turquoise blue Murano glass, the ridges of the organic modern shape playing with the light create diverse intensities in color. High quality of craftmanship with a stylized rim on the opening and excellent condition.
Giampaolo Ghisetti, born in Venice in 1944, is a self-taught artist. He begins to paint in the mid-1950s and moves to Murano in the 60s to work with glass. His artistic talent is rewarded in 1970 by a Gold Medal from the S.Andrea Academy in Rome.
He is a recognized painter and decorative artist with several of his works in private collections all-over the world.
