Slow Fired Japanese Bizen Ware Bowls

About the Item

Three 20th century handmade Japanese Bizen ware bowls. These pieces were slow fired for 10 days or more in the traditional kilns of the Bizen province of Japan and show the characteristic traces of molten ash on the red clay bodies. Each piece is unique and displays it's own distinctive beauty (see photos). Sold individually. CR115.
