Early 20th Century French Bronze Decorative Dish with Classical Roman Decor

About the Item

This elegant, antique bronze centerpiece was crafted in France, circa 1920. The shallow dish sits on an intricate round base; the top is decorated with traditional allegoric scenes and embellished with a central medallion featuring a lion figure surrounded with Roman words. The tall dish is in excellent condition and has a rich two-tone patinated bronze finish throughout. The Classic piece would make a wonderful vide-poche or could be placed as a center table piece filled with fruit or sweets. Measures: Diameter 13" Height 7.5".
