Large Rectangular Brass Box with a Pink Straw Marquetry Lid by Ginger Brown
About the Item
This lovely rectangular brass box with rounded corners, is made of brushed brass with a lid covered of straw marquetry.
The radial design of the straw reminds the great Art deco period while the elegant pink color contrasts perfectly with the gold brass.
The lid is hinged and the interior has a black micro suede.
The straw used for the marquetry is rye straw. It is dried and tinted then opened and flattened before to be sticked on the wood.
The straw has a natural silica varnish which makes it resistant and waterproof.
The dimensions of this piece are 13.4" x 10.2" x H 2.36"

To clean, simply wipe with a dry clean cloth
Do not use any cleaning agent on the surface
