Vintage Bronze Ballerina Leg Candle Holder in Battement Frappé Position

About the Item

A cast bronze ballerina leg candle holder from the mid 20th century, in Frappé position. We currently have several available, priced and sold individually $250 each. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue) which allows for great precision and finesse in the details, this bronze candle holder depicts the legs of a ballerina gracefully placed to execute a battement frappé. Adorned with lace style motifs on the sides, the legs are raised on a circular textured base. With its petite proportions and nice execution, this ballerina candle holder will be a lovely addition to any table top.
