Large 19th Century French Gilded Clock Set
About the Item
A very impressive fine quality 19th century French gilded ormolu Louis XVI style clock garniture. Having a pair of seven branch scrolling foliate candelabra. The clock with a seated cherub with a pair of Doves either side, above a white enamel clock face, the movement has an eight day duration, striking on the hour and half hour. Classical 'C' scroll, folate and shell decoration.
Measures: Clock; 64cm wide x 23cm deep x 67cm high
Candelabra; 40cm wide x 35cm deep x 78cm high.
