A botanic didactical specimen, depicting a Vitis Vinifera flower, pale yellow green color made out of papier mache, plaster and wood hand painted. Extremely detailed. Paravia Milano, Italy 1900 ca. These botanical models were used in schools to show students the characteristics of various flowers, pistils, petals, corollas, scientific names and species. Today, in addition to being collected for the Wunderkammer, Cabinet of curiosities, they are also suitable for decorating tables.
