About the Item
Rare and impressive 20" tall vintage Murano handblown Italian art glass decanter. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. Created with a alternating zig zag ribbon decoration, the "A Trina" design. There are also copper aventurine ribbons in the piece. The stopper is filled with gold leaf, and is original to the piece. Mid-Century era. Measures 20" tall x 5" wide.

Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. Similar piece is shown on the Dino Martens book, model number 6293. The decanter has its original stopper filled with gold leaf. It also has an original "Made In Italy" item number label underneath (folded). The alternating ribbon design creates a unique swirling pattern throughout the piece. You can feel each line on the shade, since it is not covered in clear glass. Very elegant shape. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a decorative piece, or as a flower vase without the stopper. Mid-century era. Measures 12" tall x 4 3/4" wide.
