About the Item
A unique vase with a lovely shiny glace, designed by Mari Simmulson for Upsala-Ekeby. The shape of the vase is about the same as her Angelina vases, but this one has a complitely unique decor.
Mari Simmulson was born 1911 in Sankt Petersburg. She came to Sweden 1944 and worked for Upsala-Ekeby from 1949. Before that she designed for Wilhelm Kåge at Gustavsberg. This vase was created in the beginning of the 1960:s. She designed for Upsala-Ekeby to the early 70:s.
Mari Simmulson died in the year 2000.
