About the Item

Art Deco period for this French silver plated liquor set 8-pieces. The set includes a silver plated and cut glass decanter, six silver plated liquor cups and original silver plated tray. This complete set is with its original case with compartments for each piece. No monograms. Prestigious silversmith: Eugene Castel 239 rue Saint-Martin in Paris. Was active from September 17, 1903 to August 23, 1910. Measures: 9.84 x 7.48 ( 5 cm x 19 cm) Tray 1"57 (4 cm) liquor cups height. 7.48 (19 cm ) decanter. Weight: 444 grams. Total weight with original box: 1560 grams. The condition is very good for this service. The service seems to have not been used. the gilding of the glasses is very well preserved. Micro chips at the base of the cap. Nothing serious (Picture 12). Micro-scratches from normal use. A master silversmith made a complete cleaning and polishing.
