Italian Twisted Glass Cane and Brass 1930s Floor Lamp
About the Item
A truly stunning, unique and beautiful design is this exceptional Italian floor lamp made of Murano glass and brass. The top portion of the lamp is a hand twisted glass cane. The glass cane, in turn, sits into a small cap where six individual brass rods attach, bow outward and then taper together at the bottom of the lamp. The brass base is covered with a hand blown fluted glass cover or dish. At the top of the lamp is an off white cone shade for light to shine up. On the side and flanking the cone are two standard bulb light sockets to illuminate the lamp shade. The shade is white fabric and custom made in Italy for the lamp. The floor lamp base is 13 inches in diameter, the top shade is 10.5 inches in diameter and the total height is 73 inches. The diameter of the shade is 19.5 inches and height is 12 inches.
