About the Item
Model 293-150 floor lamp by Oliver Mourgue for Disderot. This is a current production, designed and manufactured in France. In 1967, Olivier Mourgue invented a flower shaped lighting device, made of aluminum petals fixed on two chromed metal wires, for sconces, ceiling lights and standing lamps. He used a silver caped bulb, which was new at the time, and produced very high quality reflected lighting. This fixture is wired for U.S. junction boxes. Takes one E27 60 watt max bulb. Bulbs provided as a one time courtesy. Numbered edition, delivered with authentication certificate.
