Pair of Bronze "Helmets" Sconces with Paper Shades, France, 1950s
About the Item
Elegant pair of sconces by Jansen, entirely made of bronze and finished in a rich brown patina with silver accents. These sconces are a classic example of French post-Art Deco design of the 1950s. The top is reminiscent of a fencing face mask, hence the "helmet" name or 'Casque' in French. New shades and wiring, backplate connects directly to a J-Box.
