This stylish Italian Mid Century Modern pair of wall sconces or ceiling lights is an attractive light fixture set made of curved shaped frosted glass panels inserted in a polished brass frame mounted on a chrome panel, each sconce houses two light bulbs. The design of this wonderful lamps boasts a transparent cut glass plate positioned in the center of each sconce, the prism shaped faceted glasses allow to radiate the light in different directions for an elegant and relaxing glow, a nod to the Art Deco and Hollywood Regency period. A pair of beautiful wall light fixtures by Palwa (Palme and Walter), Germany, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1970 (late 1960s or early 1970s). They are made of a gilded / gilt / gold-plated brass frame which is decorated with cut crystal glass and a polished brass backplate.
