21st Century Modern Hand Blown Glass Table Lamp
About the Item
Flux Lamp is designed by Noe Duchaufour Lawrance for GAIA&GINO. It consists of two sizes of handmade glass parts. The color of the glass is comes from the pot so it is not painted. It comes as opal white gradient glass and white marble.
It is mouth blown in Czech Republic.
Noé, the Designer of the lamp, says:
These series of two lights evoke glass as it is being blown. The central glass column represents air as it passes through the material. Its uplifting shape is developed in three formats, from the most discreet to the most sculptural.
The marble base recalls the mineral origins of glass.

GAIA&GINO
GAIA&GINO was founded in 2004 in Istanbul, Turkey. The company is named after the founder Gaye Cevikel’s nickname and her dog Gino. The mission of Gaia&Gino was to to set a model of a leading Turkish company in the field of design and creativity. GAIA&GINO has quickly gained recognition as the first international Turkish brand in the design scene, collaborating with reputable designers and asking them to incorporate Turkish cultural elements into innovative objects. The collaborations with Karim Rashid, Arik Levy, Andrée Putman, Christian Ghion, Constantin Boym, Defne Koz, Jaime Hayon, Emir Uras, Sebastian Bergne, Harry Allen and David Adjaye brought out collections combining contemporary design with Turkish sensibility.
