About the Item
The Beacon 18" small table lamp features a handcrafted walnut body and black linen shade. Its modern Silhouette is perfectly balanced with clean, proportional lines and curves that reference Mid-Century Modern form language. Carefully selected hardwoods and glowing linens emphasize the beauty of high quality, natural materials. This timeless piece checks all the right boxes. Bulb sold separately.
Lamp options: Maple or walnut hardwood
Shade options: Black or cream linen
A hand-applied, low VOC finish brings out the rich luster of the hardwood, highlighting the characteristics of the grain and beautiful color variations that are unique to each piece.
The handmade linen shade features a rolled edge. The lamp operates with a single turn brass knob and has an 8-foot, black twisted fabric-covered cord.
The lamp measures 18" tall with a width and depth of 11".
Fans of transitional style, take note! The natural materials and neutral coloration make this piece a perfect choice for contemporary as well as more traditional home interior designs. Studio DUNN
DUNN is a small Rhode Island based design and manufacturing firm, born in 2010 from designer Asher Rodriquez-Dunn's exploration into the intersection between nature, craft, and the spirit of adventure. Our studio culture reflects this path and pursuit. Every piece of DUNN's bespoke furniture and lighting is meticulously designed and handcrafted to order in our studio. Our work is influenced by nature and a mid-century modern aesthetic with a contemporary interpretation. Our design expertise, along with our understanding of materials and techniques, enables us to customize our pieces to fulfill your clients’ particular needs. With sustainable practices and respect for materials, we build each and every product to the highest standards, ensuring they last for future generations to admire and enjoy. Asher Rodriquez-Dunn has received numerous honors recognizing his work and his ongoing contributions to the design field, including ‘Best New Designer’ at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (2010), New England Home’s ‘5 Under 40’ accomplished in design and architecture, Vogue’s ‘Ten Contemporary Designers to Collect Today,’ and Forbes’s ‘30 Under 30.’ His work has appeared in Dwell, New England Home, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Luxe, and American Craft, as well as many other publications. Asher was recognized as an Emerging Designer and inducted into the Rhode Island Design Hall of Fame in 2015.
