About the Item
Exceptional and very rare Lucciola (in English: firefly) table lamp designed by Fabio Lenci for Harvey Guzzini in 1971. Fabio Lenci designed three different models of the Lucciola: a floor lamp, a table lamp and a bedside lamp. The lamp on offer is the bedside lamp.
Lucciola was one of the first home appliances to use a halogen light source at low voltage. The lamp has a chrome-plated metal tubular arm that is adjustable. The rotatable shade is made of heat dissipation discs. The plastic covered base, with trafo on the inside, functions also as the on/off switch. The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
