Pair of Vintage Brass Table Lamps by Fog & Mørup Lamp Makers from the 1940s
About the Item
A vintage pair of brass table lamps by Danish lighting company Fog & Mørup from the 1940s in the style of Poul Henningsen.
These lamps have been dissembled and rewired with a twisted brown cloth flex, grounded and also fitted with a new on/switch.
They maintains their original Bakelite lamp holders.
Also with a lovely age related wear and patina to the surface of the brass.
New black baize has been applied to the base.
A great piece of classic Danish Design from the beginning of a great design period.
The lampshade is not included in the sale.
