About the Item

Mirror Hanger is an original design work realized in the 1970s in Italy by Luciano Bertoncini (Feltre, 1939). Mirror, glass and metal. Very good conditions. Luciano Bertoncini (Feltre, 1939). Luciano Bertoncini moved to Treviso where he worked in the studio of the architect Vittorio Rossi, gaining experience in the construction and design sectors. In this period he designs the Zattera bed and the Italian Look living room furniture which, thanks to their innovative content, help to define modern Italian furniture. He met the Designer Joe Colombo, who, as the art director of the Elco company, included the Gronda coat hanger in his catalog, which in 1971 won the second prize in the Abet Print competition. After the sudden death of Joe Colombo, he realizes the executive part of his project for the exhibition "Italy: the new domestic landscape" at Moma in New York. With his studio in Treviso, he deals with design and architecture. With the Aprilia company, he also designed the Tuareg Wind motorcycle, selected at the 14th Compasso d 'Oro. In the furniture sector he designs for various companies and, with the Bellato company, he was selected at the 10th Compasso d 'Oro with the Onda bed. He follows the corporate image of Technogym, Seventy, Aprilia, Diadora, Invicta and Belstaff of which he is also designing the single-brand stores. In 1999, the city of Oderzo dedicated a personal exhibition of his thirty years of activity to him, with a publication edited by Virginio Briatore, presented by Sergio Polano, RDE Ricerche Design Editrice.
