Set of 40 Leather Bound Mini Books of William Shakespeare's Plays with Bookcase

About the Item

This set of forty leather bound William Shakespeare plays were presumably done in England in approximately 1920 in the period Art Deco style. Each miniature book from this set measures approximately one and a half inches in height, and vary in thickness depending on the play, but are bound in black leather. The books come with a miniature wooden library styled bookcase, and is quite sturdy. The books are in good period condition showing some browning to the pages and wear to the leather covers, but none of the binding seems to be broken, and none of the pages appear to be torn.

The very scarce complete 1813 twenty-one volume edition of the plays of Shakespeare.
