About the Item

For your consideration is this superbly stylish 1930s vintage leather and chrome trim ladies handbag, the size and color are an absolute dream, with plenty of room here for all your essentials. Amazing quality this one with a healthy 7" (17.5 cm) wide and 8" (20 cm) high with the usual optional carrying handle on the top. Fully lined in black silk which is in excellent condition. There are several compartments inside including a central built in purse with it's own chrome frame. It closes with a secure nice snap by the chrome clasp that works perfectly. Fabulous and unique vintage bag this one, you will not see another like this in a long time. Still with its original label inside which reads 'Made In England'. Condition is as good as you could hope for with a bag of this age, free from any stains, rips, odours, loose threads etc., the chrome is untarnished, not pitted or rusted peeling or any of those unsightly distracting marks. Perfect to add to any collection and also perfect to accompany today's lady for modern day use.
