About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage, carved Walnut frame, English carver armchair which has been reupholstered in Birds of Paradise velvety fabric The piece is part of a suite, in total I have a walnut framed carved Italia armchair, an English large carver armchair and a small window sofa which is the size of a large stool, this sale is for the piece mentioned above only, the others are listed under my other items and not included in this sale The frame is vintage and nicely carved, it has a wonderful grain to it, the fabric has a velvet finish which is quite thick and very soft to touch, it depicts birds of paradise in there natural setting These pieces just scream English country house fine! Dimensions Height:- 105cm Width:- 62.5cm Depth:- 68.5cm Seat height:- 50cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
